Thinking of trying out the shorter case .35 REM next year and wanted to see if anyone sells it on the South Side. I know there are a few shops, one in Peru but curious if I could find it closer.

If you plan to shoot the short case 35 Remington you should probably take up reloading. I have been using it for the last few years in a slightly different version using a shortened and reformed 30-40 Krag case to make a rimmed 35 Remington 1.8. I shoot mine out of a T/C Contender and the rimmed case just works alot better for me. As I have said in other posts, I had been a new barrel and cartridge every year kid of guy until I got into the 35 Remington, but it is just confidence inspiring to know that if the deer is at 200 yards or under it's just point and shoot.
