I have a 2011 explorer awd with 75k miles and the cel came on. Where's a good place to take it that would treat a women well and not take advantage. I'm asking for someone else. Although I've had the same problem.

    Thanks

Talk to E.J. at Mieneke on the southside. He is always good at telling me what I can get away with if I can't afford the whole job and what would cost me labor twice if I don't get something done together. IU employees/students get a 10% discount.

IMHO, first thing is first, get the codes checked out. If the CEL came on then there will be a code that identifies what the problem is. After that has been determined perhaps a better recommendation could be made?

Just about all auto-parts stores will check codes. Have her write down the specific code numbers. That will help a bunch!
