    under your bed!!!
My dad had this blade for many years and passed it to me recently, but neither of us have a clue what it is. I was hoping someone here might have an idea. There is not a marking on it at anywhere. The overall sheathed length is about 27 inches and the blade length is 17 inches. The edge has been ground to an edge but not very sharp, but the point is like a needle. Any info would be appreciated.

Maybe some type of "Bolo"? Hard to say without some type of history. Did he serve overseas? I'm thinking Phillipino, or China, possible Africa?
