I bought this honeycrisp apple tree last year. The apples are growing nicely, but the leaves are dying and it looks sick. Any ideas what I can do for it?

It's one of the more sensitive apple species and like a lot of other stuff food for japanese beetles this time of year.

mulch 5 foot diameter around the tree and put slow release tree spikes in (6 or so) and it should start to get better with rain

Hard to tell from the picture, but if the leaves look burned, it could be fire blight. That would have to be cut off and destroyed (buried or burned far away from any fruit trees).
