    Reminds me of Vietnam post-1973 when we pulled all (most) of our troops out. Special Forces remained to provide support and continued training for the South (as was their stated mission). Of course, once the North invaded, there weren't enough reliable forces to oppose them, and we refused to support them, so they got overrun in the end. Time will tell if the Iraqis will fare any better.

    Soldiers are still drawing Imminent Danger pay right?!
    Course there are a lot of places that we draw that pay that are not considered War Zones by the populace either...
