I'm bringing a truckload of geezers up on Saturday morning. Keeping our fingers crossed that there are some interesting guns and maybe a good deal or two.

For a small show, I thought that this one was pretty good. Parking was plentiful and the five buck admission charge was great. The venue was the best. There was adequate lighting and carpet to walk on. The isles were nice and wide. There were some fair prices on some guns, most of them new. Most of the vendors didn't seem to have "the attitude" and were in fact pretty friendly. My buddy picked up a few small items and we all got a t-shirt from the guy from the Howard County Veterans Memorial ( http://www.hcvmc.com/). We cruised the swap meet in the parking lot and the indoor flea market. Again, my buddy found some bargains, like a big ammo can in pretty nice shape for $8.00 (a guy was selling very rusty ones at the gun show for $15.00). After getting some drinks at Burger King in Seymour, we hit the Acme gun shop in Seymour (highly recommend), but they didn't have specifically what I was looking for. We also hit Bassmasters which was a waste of time.
