I really like the MOE I have on mine right now, but I might switch it out for a Tango Down grip, if I get the palm one for an AK (it might be nice to have the same grip feel on both guns).
For now though, I am sticking with the MOE

I HATE the standard A2 grip with a passion.

My all-around favorite AR grip is the Ergo Suregrip.

    • Inexpensive at $19
    • Comes in popular colors - black, FDE, OD
    • Has a comfortable beavertail
    • Rubber texture provides excellent grip in any condition, and never gets hot or cold
    • Subtle finger groves add control without being intrusive
    • Has small storage compartment (that I don't care about)
The Hogue is nice, but lacks a beavertail, and I'm not a fan of the sharp finger grooves.

The MIAD/MOE is nice, but still feels "plasticky". The MIAD is versatile, but $$.

The TangoDown BattleGrip is nice for smaller hands, but is $$.

Of course this is all my opinion based on the grips I've handled in the past. I'm gonna try a MOE for my upcoming SBR build.

I've said before that a rubber-covered MOE would be my idea of a perfect grip-- still waiting on them to hit the market though. . . . :dunno:

Had to go and mess it up for me didn't you? I loved my RRA branded Hogue's. However, as a 1911 shooter, I always seemed to notice the gap where a beavertail should be... :xmad:
