i havent checked into it... but can i just order an ar15 lower(stripped) online or does it have to be transfered by some one with an FFL

Yes you can order it and yes you have to have an FFL transfer it.

Yes, if you buy it out of state it will need to be transfered.

The lower of an AR is "the gun" in the eyes of the law. Everything else for an AR can come to your door when you order it.

I'm looking into another lower, or two. I need them like hole in the head but there are some decent prices coming around again.

no nothing really in particular... just going to build a pretty standard one first then go from there... i know nothing about these rifles BUT i have a friend that has built a few and one VERY nice 458 socom.. he is going to assist me...

i am probably just gonna keep an eye on here to get one (when i get enough posts) wife not thrilled with me spending that much on buying one we just had to put in a complete new hvac system in our home that was $5k
