    SAV, ELP, DFW, SBN,
To those of you running AR pistols, I've run into a problem with mine. Yesterday I went out to shoot a few rounds through mine, and I went to pull the charging handle back and noticed that it was rubbing on my foam buffer tube sleeve. The buffer tube and foam sleeve were purchased from Spikes, and I didn't give it any thought when I added the foam sleeve option.
So my question is this, are those of you who are running AR pistols using buffer tubes without foam sleeves or are you modifying the sleeve. If you have pictures of your buffer tube set up I'd appreciate it with a brief description i.e. brand and buffer tube length and buffer weight.
    Thanks :ingo:!

I use a RRA receiver ext. ( buffer tube ) like shown here. No Mods or foam.
Note that it doesn't use a castle nut like the Spikes, which I didn't want.

Rock River Arms: Pistol Lower Receivers

    edit to add:

Using a BCM Kino 12.5" upper , H buffer, standard carbine buffer spring, Tactical Innovations lower, RRA standard lower parts.

Will take a pic when/if I find the camera.

Spikes upper and Lower, pistol buffer tube kit from PK firearms. Standard carbine buffer and spring. It has the Foam. At first, after I installed it, it too noticed that the CH was rubbing.

The I pulled the foam back about a 1". It does not do it anymore. Run's 100%.
