    I was not in the service, can I still get it?

    Up here it don't matter what branch you did or didn't serve in; you ain't gettin it till next year, maybe.

    Apparently I didn't realize this was a get it while you can at opening offer that wouldn't even last thru the day....

    I don't know if this was a greater loss for Arbys or me when I wasted my time this afternoon driving there for my vension that wasn't to be. I do know it'll be awhile before they see any of my $.

    One thing I've never tried with venison is slicing it thin like Arby's roast beef. Thought about getting one of the meat slicers, just never have gotten around to it.

    At least they tried nationwide this year. Last year it was "only in select markets", which didn't include Plainfield, Indiana. Apparently they lasted about the same length of time before being gone for good.
