My wife and daughter decided to brave the Outlet Mall, so a friend and I decided to carpool with them to Atterbury.
I wasn't expecting what I saw. Business was booming (literally). All the lanes, save one 50yd. rifle lane were full!! And there was a waiting list for the pistol lanes, also.
Our original plan was to start out on a pistol lane, and later move to a rifle lane. As it was, we stayed on the rifle lane for the duration.
It was a fun day, and the Mosin and the M1 carbine needed to be shot, anyway, but my friend only brought his pistols, so we shot up the rifle ammo fairly quickly.
All things considered, I guess I should have expected the crowd. It was a beautiful day, and many people were off work.
On the other hand, +1 for the Atterbury staff.They were doing a great job dealing with the crowd, and keeping it safe (as usual).
In addition, I met another fine INGO member....always a plus!!
