Average Price of XD9 and XDM9 ?

I've been looking around at prices on an XD9/XDM9, due to it having been on my wishlist for months.

I have seen all kinds of prices and am unsure what the median price range is. I noticed that a XD9 would run about 500$ (440 for the gun + shipping and insurance+ transfer and FFL fees) if I bought the XD9 "package" from CheaperThanDirt; that price, however, seemes to be the price for the gun itsself if I were to purchase it anywhere else.

Any thoughts or ideas?

i got my xdm 9 at the 1500 for 535$......its comming up again in a couple of weeks

Bud's has (OD Green Frame / Black Slide) XDM 9mm 4.5 inch barrel for $556 including shipping...

I'd say save a little extra and go for the XDM if you can. I like the exchangeable back strap and better barrel personally.
