    For those of you on the Southside of Indy, take a trip over to the Beech Grove Meat Market, 4th & Main. Bacon is $4.99/pound and the best quality slab bacon I've found anywhere in town. Definitely better than the offerings at the local groceries and a lot less expensive (Wright bacon costs 2x as much and is nowhere near the same quality.) For that matter, the entire meat counter there is quite good. Their homemade brats are without a doubt the best in Indianapolis.

    It's times like these that it's reassuring to have 2 deep-freezer... one with half a beef in it and the other with multiple piggies... I have at least 30 pounds of bacon remaining from the piggies...
