I prefer both Kifaru and Mystery Ranch to Badlands.

I have one Badlandls pack that has seen a lot of back country miles out west and its held up better than any other pack I've had.

Buck Commander Packs are pretty nice and for the money, NC Star has a pretty decent line of packs. Nothing like Badlands or B C, but they are very reasonable.
