They really need to go! ( posted this in the wrong spot)
I need to vent. One of my coworkers kids go to this school. Both he and his wife rushed to the pickup spot when they got the reverse 911 call.
Got a general email from him telling us his kids are ok and what it was like. He asked for prayers for the dead, the families and the first responders.
He is saying several of the adults ( teachers) killed were charging the gunman, unarmed, trying to stop him. They didn't have a chance.
He had to run about 1,500 feet to the firehouse from his car and as he got closer the faces on the police and fireman told a grim story. At the check in, the lady in front of him showed her ID to the person taking names and they took her to a different place in a building.
He showed his ID and his kids were on the list and they moved him to another area with other parents . He could tell at that time his kids were alive. He watched several more parents get taken inside and everyone around him knew it was bad.
