I installed a 20" Criterion hybrid .223 Wylde barrel, I broke it in today, initial velocity avg w/ BH mk262 was 2786fps. After 80rnds of m193 I chrono'd 10 more rounds of BH mk262 and the avg jumped to 2810fps. I was hoping to get 2850fps w/ mk262 out of this barrel.

Wondering what's the most velocity gain you've seen with a new barrel after (x) amount of rounds?

Not 65 fps. But if it's chromed, that throws out most people's knowledge.

Curiosity: Why are you so interested in a specific speed?

That way if he doesn't reach his target velocity he can justify more upgrades.
If he does reach his target the he can set a new target to shoot for and then more upgrades. It's a vicious circle! :lmfao:
