Hi all, I'm Rick Barrett from Barrett Custom knives and just thought I'd give a short introduction for those who don't already know me. I'm a sword smith and knifemaker of 23+ years in Goshen (northern Indiana). Probably one of the only swordsmiths in Indiana and one of only a small handful of custom smiths in Northern Indiana. Looking forward to meeting other enthusiast in the area as well as other makers.

welcome sir. i have personally played with one of your swords a buddy bought and to say its amazing is a understatement. very cool to see you on the boards. there isn't many makers on here but cubby and cj knives and a couple others, but there is definitely a lot of folks who love steel and appreciate the work that goes into making them.

this one was awesome, even before he had it finished! and that karambit/hawkbill out of the same batch was the bee knees.

handles are Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber. i forget the specs on the dammy.....

Welcome aboard Rick. Cubby originally told me about your work a while back, when he was giving me some pointers (I am still very new to making knives), and I have been drooling ever since. Your work is simply amazing. Good to have you on the site.
