    looking to buy a cheap spotting spotting scope for casual range use. Nothing fancy, just need to see the results of my shot! Thanks!

    A great question, and one I don't really have an answer to. I've only borrowed others and I don't know the brand or price range of those. I was hoping "cheap" would be a helpful definition!

    ive sold some spotters who say they want a cheap backup and order a 900 dollar spotting scope, ive talked to some folks that dont want to pay 50 bucks for one.

    imo you need to spend at least 200 dollars on the konus sport view.

    I have a $150 or so Konus and I'm very happy with it. I wish I'd bought it years ago instead of going without.

    I have an old Sears 60mm telescope. Would trade some reloading supplies for it or take around fourty bucks for it. I bet you could see the grain on the paper targets. It is a little big for the range but it would work and is affordable. I have the book and all the accessories and have pictures of it.
