What a great weekend! Can't wait for our illustrious shoot boss to get this started, so I am just going to say:


What a wonderful set of students and what a beautiful weekend. Me & mine had a ball.

Lydia and I had a great time.

Found out why my 10-22 was jamming up on day 2. After day 1, my scope base had shot loose, so I added thread lock into the screw holes on the receiver.
Tonight I Stripped the bolt out and the thread lock had got around the firing pin and it was frozen solid!
Also, I bought this rifle used, and this was the first time I have taken it apart...there wasn't a bolt stop in it when I took it down, last owner must have left it out!

Thanks for sharing. I signed up for the Nashville Appleseed in December. It'll be my first.

My cousin has been on me for a while to come to this. I brought my 14 year old daughter down on Sunday and my only regret was that we didn't make it down on Saturday. We learned a ton and had a blast. Thanks to Chili Dog for being a great host. Enjoyed getting to know many great people. If you haven't been to an Appleseed sign up NOW you will learn things that will last a lifetime.

What a great shoot. Enjoyed meeting everyone and was very impressed with everyone's teachable attitudes and safe rifle handling. Some feel we go overboard on the safety stuff, but you can relax and pay attention to what you're doing knowing that you have the watchful eyes of the instructors making sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
