Cost a bit more, but the Gem-tech G5 is a great supressor. Picked mine up for 800$, and after shooting 1000 rounds thru it in two days I have nothing but good things to say about it. Not threaded but rather a quick detach (via a twisting lock).

Most noticeable thing about it was not the sound reduction (though that was great), but the fact that the concussive force of a 10.5" barrel was reduced to nothing. Without it you could FEEL each shot about 6 feet away, with it nada.

Have no experience with it, but Thompson Machine ( a site advertiser no less) just released the sixteen which is under $600, and can be broken down for cleaning seems like a winner!

How does the YHM Stainless 5.56 threaded version stack up? I got one incoming, but only because I got it for a song, never read much about it.

I've got a stainless SAS .30 cal can and am very happy with it. it was pretty cheap. Get ahold of Corey at SSNFA and he can get you a price that's hard to beat.
