BHK Bushcrafter w/Maple scales?

I fell in love with Blind Horse Knives Bushcrafter several years ago, when they came with the fiddleback maple wood scales. Yeah, I kick myself for not picking up one then at the 1500. Now they only come with micarta. Is there anywhere/one that still has them with wood scales? Can't like 'dem micarta scales.....

You might could order a custom one from Dan or LT. they are very easy to work with. give them a call or shoot em a email and I'm sure they will square you away. I was speaking with dan about 2 years ago when they stopped using the maple and he said it was because it was just to hard to get large amounts of good sets. I would bet they could probably get a set and hook you up.

Or you can watch bladeforums and the other knife forums and wait for one to come up on the secondary market
