    Where is a good place to get a barometric gun safe? I want one thT I can get my pistol fast if need be. I seen the finger tip ones at Cabelas who else sells them

    And here I was thinking we were talking about some fancy dehumidifier that kicked into overdrive when the barometric pressure indicated it was going to rain.

    I have seen too many videos of them acting up and not actuating the release reliably.

    ^^ This. Does anyone have a reasonably priced, reliable biometric safe (I'm not talking $5k or over)?

    Everyone I know who ever got one returned it because the bio-recognition wasn't reliable.

    I've got Dell laptop sitting right here with a "fingerprint" reader that never works right.

    Do your fingers get dry and a bit wrinkled in the winter? Ever cut your finger? Wear a bandaid? All these things can mess up biometric systems that look at your fingers.

    The mechanical/electronic finger code systems (like GunVault and others) are fast and reliable.

    You need both.
