    So, where's the poop nest?

    LOL.. This was the poop nest, but the poop went away (NO idea) and three robin's eggs appeared :) One was smaller, and it appears she pushed that one out of the nest and didn't incubate it! (I think you can see it to the right of the nest in the photo.) I saw her come to the nest with a worm and then fly away awhile ago, so I ran out to take a photo. The other parent was nearby on security detail and dive bombed me a second after I took this one, so I ran inside :)

    We have a 700 ft gravel drive to get to the house and washed river rock in our planting beds.

    Each year we have Killdeer nesting in our drive and rock beds. Their eggs blend right in.

    I use orange cones to mark them in the drive some no one runs over eggs.
