LOL, I make it all the time for scout camping trips for the leaders and never had a compliant. If I can make it out to a Sunday meet & shoot I'll bring everything that I'll need to make a fresh batch.

Thanks guys now I gotta wait til Saturday morning to find a reason to work at mom & dads early...can always get dad to cook homemade biscuits & gravy with a pound of sausage in it and a pound of hickory smoked bacon (from a smokehouse in TN) with stronger smoky taste than most packaged stuff

Hi De Ho was about 25 miles east of Valpo...not far from where I live now.


I haven't had their B&G, but the Viking Chili Bowl seems to have a pretty good breakfast and is always busy.

The Hi De Ho was on 30 near Grovertown. I think it closed in the early to mid 90's.

The Viking Chili Bowl in on 30 just east of state road 2 by Valpo.

Never been, though the name always kind of made me chuckle. Vikings and Chili are not two things I would naturally put together.

I have never seen any vikings in there. I've actually never had chili there either.
