I was wondering what is the best of the best deals for a pistol length upper? Ideally it would be a 10" length complete upper but for a great deal anything is possible. So what have deals have you found and where?

    Thanks,
    T

I've been thinking about picking up one of these 10" uppers to build another pistol...$399 with rail seems like too good of a deal.

I know that is a good deal. But I was thinking of a more simpler one that I can modify myself might be more fun. I am torn because that is one good deal but a touch more than I am wanting to invest right now. Decisions? Decisions?

I snagged up one of those KG Stinger II 7" pistol uppers with BCG and charging handle. $339.99 with free shipping. When I pair that with the Anderson stripped lower I just bought from AIM surplus, I am looking like I am going to be able to build a nice AR pistol for >$650

So guys I'm torn between getting a 7" pistol upper and a 10" pistol upper. I have heard the 7" are more prone to being finicky with ammo and possible a higher rate of FTF's FTE's, whereas the 10" is more reliable and tends to handle the gas process more efficiently. Also the flash and bang is less with the 10". What do you think? is your first hand experience the same? Is this blown up internet hype?

    Thanks for any help!
