Cory, on the same topic. did you see the training memo from DHS? We will be getting similar training with Blackhawks over the summer. Part of the training will be extraction via the helos. It is a Federal requirement for us for the upcoming Federalization that is slated for April 2012. I'm looking forward to the new uniforms and Federal pay/benifits Finally we will be Agents rather than Officers.

I normally do not weigh in on these subjects but feel compelled in this case. Unless I miss my guess, those birds belong to an outfit that in Lincoln's words "...have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of Freedom". I assure you that those flying them understand not only Posse Comitatus but also the Constitution which they swore to defend, and in the case of the fallen below honored that oath to their dying breath. They are sons, and fathers, friends and husbands. They love this nation and our freedoms as much as anyone. They are asked by our Nation to do things that would turn most peoples hair white or leave them frozen in fear. If training like that saves ONE life it is worth any "concern" it may cause.

at least our military uses blackhawks instead of rubber rafts. the only reason people in miami got so crazy about them training is because more than half are probly illegals. they thought the govt was finally doing their constitutional duty and rounding them up for deportation.

you assume that they are all cubans.

Ding! Winnar!... Haitians, Dominicans, and a number of northern countries in S. America have very large populaces in S. Florida.

...and I think we need to change our policy towards Cuba. ole Raul Castro, is doing some good things there... and even if he wasn't, Cubans aren't Americans. They want freedom? Do what we did and fight for it.

Nothing to see here folks. We have no separation of military and police. They're keeping us safe by practicing the next foreign invasion. Who will it be... Saudi Arabia? Turkey? Mongolia?

Or maybe its a drill intended for seizing control of American cities. Its been practiced before...

No, silly, it's so they can practice assaulting all of the super-tall skyscrapers in the mountains of Afghanistan :n00b:

    Sarcasm?

what are people in the video complaining about? the military can do whatever the heck they want. they are keeping their butts safe. why dont they go live in any country in africa or the middle east where if you pass a tank on the road its no big deal.

EPIC fail. Last I checked, this isn't Africa or the Middle East. :n00b:
