I'm thinking about ordering some parts for my 1911 but they only have stainless or blued and my gun has a flat black matte finish....has anyone done this before? Will it look weird or should i just go with the stainless and do a multi-tone....the pieces im talking about are the hammer, slide stop, and grip safety. THanks

I'd go stainless for the 2 tone (without having seen the parts or a pic of the gun). I don't think I'd go with blued, but then I'm not a fan of a blued finish in general.

Get stainless. If it troubles you, spraypaint the visible bits before you install. It may not be as durable, but it'll match.
