Holy cow I bought my first lower on sunday, this is wendsday an I've put 3 of them together sofar!
All 3 are Delaware machinery lowers,DPMS parts kits. Mine is a A1 stock, the other 2 are 6 position collapsable.
Got a good deal on my upper, a used SP1 20" light bbl. All total I have roughly $475 in my complete rifle!!!
I shot it Tuesday and if functioned like a champ.

My Wife is out of town with the camera so pictures have to wait for another week, sorry

I couldnt be happier. It is a great feeling, not only did I put the rifle togeter but I also loaded the ammo...lol
For as complicated as an AR looks its very easy to put together. A big plus on putting it together yourself is knowing how it works and being able to fix anything that might go wrong with it

It's addicting. A couple years ago, right before the Obama rush my brothers, dad, a couple friends, and I all did a group buy on lowers. We bought 25 combined. And then we had a build party. We sat down and put them all together all in one shot. That was a fun night...

We even took a picture of all of them, but I'm not sure what happened to the picture.
