They all do it, remember the uproar when ever Bush took a week off? I am sure it is not easy to run the country into the ground all over the world.

I don't understand why this is even considered a problem. I hope you guys realize Bush took more than three times as many days off same time into his term (Obama's 70 days versus Bush's 225). Except, you know, he managed to start two wars and tanked our economy during that time.

I don't care if you're republican, libertarian, anarchist, democrat, or socialist. For republicans, he's responsible for breaking from and betraying conservative fiscal policies, as well as principles of noninterference. And I don't have to remind you how much everyone else hated him. Bush was an awful president by every measure and he will never be missed.

WTF?!! Did the royal... er, um... I mean, "first" family just have a vacation down in the Gulf (Mexico, not Persian)? Guess they need another beach vacation to get the oil off.

And I read an article that said the Obamatard, "arrived a few hours after is family." So the First Beyotch and the First Brats couldn't delay their travel half a day? They're so special that they had to take a separate, taxpayer-funded airplane?

    How am I trolling?

Obama's spent a lot less time vacationing than Bush. You can't spin that either way. More importantly, how many days they spend vacationing is a distraction from the real issues. A president that does his job well could vacation 364 days out of the year, for all I care. But the fact is, Obama's vacation time isn't even out of line with his predecessors.

The Republic party is struggling partially because of its failure to adhere to the real issues. They stake too much on these political gimmicks. Obama's not the greatest president; it's easy to find REAL ammunition against him. It's a real shame because the Democrat party has shown time and time again that it has no leadership. At this pace, I'm sure the Democrat party is going to be able to maintain their majority in the federal legislature. And that would be a damn shame.

Can you provide a source for that?

    Nevermind, I found several.

I've never thought vacation time was an issue for a President. They don't have vacation the way we think of it, they just go to another place to work. Their job is reading, sitting in meetings, and listening to advice. They can do that anywhere.

The very fact people cannot see the difference between Bush and Obama is exactly why this country is in such deep trouble. There are basic economic principles which must be adhered to or everything goes all to heck. Obama is ignoring all of them and still people stand up to defend him to the very end.

the REAL sad thing is that the majority of the American People are too DUMB to understand the REAL issues. thats why the parties must focus on such stupid topics to put into their attacks. how do i know most americans are dumb?? Because If Americans were smart we wouldnt have obama right now.

also, i have no problem giving Bush credit for the things he messed up, but i dont believe the ecconomy was one of them. Clinton has PLENTY of responsibility in messing up the ecconomy and keeping american businesses down! he also boned the military which caused bush to go on a deffense spending frenzy just to get the military back to where it needed to be. Congress is the ones to blame for the economy.

+w for Congress screwing up the economy. CONGRESS makes the law. No sitting president can do that on his own. He signs what Congress puts in front of him, or vetoes it, but that's it. He can lean on them and ask them to do what he wants, but Congress is under NO obligation to listen.

Anyone who blames BUSH for the economy is sadly misguided. He didn't wreck it anymore than Obama can fix it. ONLY CONGRESS has that authority.

It doesn't help when presidential candidates stand up and make promises they'll have no authority to keep, like "no new taxes" or "I'll fix the economy" blah blah blah. Only Congress can do these things. And sadly, Congresspeople have proven to be masters at blame deflection.
