Great guns if you want to build a feather weight AR15, and already have a good quality one laying around.

If you're getting it because you don't already have an AR, then forget it. I had one of the pistols and it never ran right.

Go with Stag arms.

They're the same guns S&W sells re-labeled as their M&P series, only a hell of a lot less money.

So, you are saying Stag makes S&W M&P AR15's? I read this was only true in the beginning.

Pretty much any standard AR with a forged lower (when compared to the carbon series ). I'd even take a stock Olympic over that carbon Bushy.

As I've been known to recommend, the best "bang-for-your-buck" these days in M4-styled ARs is from Spike's Tactical.

It may be $100 or so more than a bottom-of-the-barrel AR, but for that $100 you jump to top-of-the-line features.

spike's has become the flavor of the month, and with good reason from what I understand. If i were in the market for another carbine, Spike's would be near the top of the list.

So popular, in fact, that guys buying those rifles are now waiting 8-10 weeks to receive them.

But they are worth it IMO.

I have a carbon pistol. It shoots great, flawless function.
