About the only place I know you can try out a Busse is at the 1500.

Same goes for most of the other nice high end knives that I'd like...

    Buy Busse's:

Direct from Busse Combat Knife Company
From idahoskunk (the only "dealer) at Busse Company Store
or from Hindsight (Busse employee) at some Dayton Shows
or from Mike (Busse forum mod) at the 1500 and Columbus shows.

Everyone - EVERYONE - else is buying them at the same direct prices you can, then reselling on secondary market.

(EDIT: I was trying to save KC and Blade for myself! Danged, secret is out! Yep, the shop has a multibooth presence at Blade - I've lost blood helping set up that danged booth. They're also at Knob Creek. They never bring out anything good at Knob Creek until the last day. Don't bother before Sunday!)

A warning, your first Busse will be just that, your first! :D

    INFI is very addicting!

Good luck with your hunt, it's half the fun, and well worth it!

what about the show in lafayette this weekend are there going to be any good knife dealers there?

Busse only allows a few dealers to sell their knives and we are not one of them, but Brad will be set up at the Lafayette show this weekend and he has some nice knives.

For the record so people know, KC and Blade are just bullsh**ing events. People go and talk, drink, eat, drink more, and somehow I end up cutting myself.

There is actually very little knife buying going on :dunno:
