What are your thoughts on open carry? Have you ever been on a "man with a gun call" that turned out to be a licensed citizen, OCing?

How about "man with a gun call" that turned out to be a criminal OC'ing? Seems to me that the BG's are the least likely to OC.

Maybe I worded that the wrong way. I'm just curious to find out how often these "man with a gun calls" happen when it turns out to be just a licensed citizen exercising his or her right to OC in this state.

I knew a IPS Police Officer who worked at Manual HS.

They got a "man with a gun" call. A license holder was walking across the street from the school with his S&W P99 hanging out in some cheapie nylon holster. They drew their weapons and ordered him down on his belly. They disarmed him, cuffed him. After a tongue-lashing I think they let him go on his way.
