Any INGOers tried or currently use a Car Seat Holster?

and I talked with their reps at the 1500 last night. They gave us the complete run down on how they work.

    Initial impressions:

    • System seems incredibly versatile and universal
    • Installation looks simple and fast
    • Price is cheaper than comparable systems I've seen
I'd love to get some first-hand impressions from my fellow INGOers.

A rip off of my idea. I made and sold seat holsters for years. Mine used a strap that went around the seat, not over, and could postion the gun on the right, left or front of the holster. Sold some on e-bay and a couple of shops, but not a whole lot of intrest. But not much I can do as I never got a patent for it. I learned my lesson and now have two patents and have sold the rights so no one will steal my ideas again.

I've seen them demonstrate it. I don't know if I would want to spend the money for it. I think you'd be better off just situating your holster for easier access while you're sitting in the seat, with the seatbelt on.

I've seen those guys at the show several times, and while I think the product is a good idea, there's on thing that turns me away from those guys.... Their big "ALL SALES FINAL" signs.

If they're getting enough people trying to return them that they need that sign posted pretty much 360 degrees around their booth, either the product is poorly designed, poorly constructed, does not work as demonstrated, or any combination thereof.

    YMMV.

Hold on man let me run back to my car and grab my gun....
NO THANKS!! i'll stick with the holster on my sidee =)
I believe it's for while you're operating your vehicle only. When you get in, you remove the gun from your holster and place it in the seat holster so if you need to grab it, it's much easier to retrieve while sitting in the car.
