    The flaxseed seasoning came off the 8" pan after the second use cleaning only with hot water and plastic bristle brush.

    I am certain this is because I got lazy and left the factory seasoning on the pan before I started.

    I will soak it in easy off and start the flaxseed oil sesoning over from bare cast iron.

    I will soak it in easy off and start the flaxseed oil sesoning over from bare cast iron.

    I have never been able to get the flaxseed to last more than a week or two and I electrolysis my pans for days before seasoning. If you are going to do it, my advice is to get your coats super thin; as in wipe down until it appears almost dry.
