Congrats again Chad. I know your striving for "perfection" but you shot a hell of a match. 3rd overall to Lesgar and Chris K is super impressive.

Ya, I made a few mistakes. Dropped mag, make up on steel, forgot my next shooting position on the triangle stage, and I was way too slow on the wobbly platform "can you count" stage.

I should have looked at the stage times for the wobbly platform. I played it safe, and it was way too slow.

I shot the field courses conservatively, and it played out ok.

A lot of people "swung for the fence" and they didn't hook up enough. I usually choose to take the hit that gets me on base. Eventually, I'll get to home base.

judging relative risk/reward is a big part of the game.

a .350 batting average and only a handful of home runs is probably going to be better than the guy swinging for the fences and only hitting .200. 10 solid stages is going to come out better than 5 burnt to the ground stages and 5 train wrecks.
