The Central States Revolver Championship was held last month at BORCC in Michigan.
Michiana Shooting News covered the event and posted the video( thay also make a video of the Prod/SS/Rev. match this spring in Warsaw).
It was a great match and well run. In fact Bruce AKA PITMASTER here on INGO was one of the match directors and did a super job in his interview at the end of the video.
If you have a wheelgun you should check it out and shoot it. You don't have to be good at it to have fun in fact the scoring is timed by your actual time to shoot the course of fire plus added time for hits not in the A zone. The fast shooters shot the match(8 stages) in a little over 200 seconds but several shooters were in the 600 to 800 bracket with a average of 400(just a guess). It is a fun match that no care how you do as lots of shooters only shoot a wheelgun once a year for this match.
There is a Random draw prize table that IIRC S&W donated $500 dollors to that was given out random with 6 shooters getting $50 and 2 getting $100 no matter where you finished. Some other cool stuff on the prize table.
