Cleaning how to-Tutorials ?

Picked up a GP100 yesterday and as this is my first "hi power" revolver, I'd like to keep it up and running properly. Does this site or any other shave some good tips for proper cleaning and maintenance ? How far can you or should you strip them down ?

I would check youtube, there are a lot of how to videos on many gun models.

Do you have the owners manual? It tells/shows how to disassemble for a detailed clean. If not gor to Ruger's web site and download it. It's pretty simple.
