Colt AR-15 Barrel

I just bought a 16" barrel that is supposed to be a new Colt brand. Is there any way to tell if this is really a Colt?

Colt usually stamps a "C" into the barrel, and it should also be stamped MP 5.56 NATO, all those markings are close together.

It should be C MP then followed by caliber along with twist rate(i.e. 1/7, 1/8)
