    I have the Colt. It reminds me of my days in the Corps. There's nothing I can say about it that hasn't been said a bajillion times before. It won't get sub MOA at 800 yards, but if you practice the fundamentals, it'll treat you just right. Not exactly the best choice for home defense, but its a classic rifle with a classic feel

    Uncle Sam issued us new M16A4's before we deployed and I've got a 20" AR that's pretty close to what I used to have. I built mine through Palmetto State Armory. It's a great rifle and if you wanted to be able to say you put your own together they're one of the few quality options out there that put together a 20" barreled upper. Mine has never given me a hiccup and even though I rarely shoot it I can't see ever getting rid of it. Are you going to put a KAC rail on yours?

    If you just want to buy either a Colt or FN I don't think you could go wrong with either.
