Colt Buntline .22/.22mag

I have a Older Colt New Frontier Buntline .22/.22mag that my father wants to sell. He has had it for years. It is a super nice older Colt with both cyl. Someone added a vent rib on the barrel, I don't think they came that way. I think it has the 7.5 barrel. I called Colt with the numbers and they said 1976 was the build year. Can anyone give me a idea what it is worth?? I have not seen to many of them..I will try and post a picture.

I did a Quick price check online. These are selling in the $495.00 range. The Good, only 2793 guns were made with 7.5" barrel. The Bad, None with a Vent Rib. I don't know who would think the Vent Rib was a good idea. That's just my opinion but that Rib might be detrimental to a Sale.

Thanks Chaplain, I didn't think it came with it. I will say that whoever put it on did a great job. I seen some on Gun Broker and guys are wanting $600-700.. That sounded high to me . That's why I ask on here. You guys seem to know the true street value. Thanks for your help......
