Commander Length 1911s 4.25" bbl .45acp

I want to buy a commander length 1911. Really interested in Springfield's champion series, Smith and Wesson's E series, Ruger's new 1911 (the commander), maybe some Sigs. Whaddya got? Gotta be .45acp, gotta be a commander, gotta be around $800. Ft. Wayne.

brew45 -- I just purchased a S&W 1911Sc "E" at the Indiana Gun Club :: Inventory :: Guns For Sale. MSPR was $1369, listed at $1195, got it for $1120 ($1204 'out the door' w/ taxes). Since you posted in the WTB, I guess you are looking for used, but IGC is worth looking at.

I looked hard for about a month and was prepared to go up to $2000 (but really wanted to stay under $1500). I went up to IGC 3 times, as well as just about every where else in the Indy area, but kept coming back to the S&W.
