Competition dates for 2011 @ ACC

ACT will be returning to the Atlanta Conservation Club with the very popular Instructional League in 2011 and a full day class that is an introduction to competition. Start time will be 2pm for all league shoots.

April 9: Competition Pistol 101 8am - 4pm (Introduction to Competition)
April 23: Instructional League 2-6pm
May 21: Instructional League 2-6pm
June 25: Instructional League 2-6pm
August 27: Instructional League 2-6pm
September 24: Instructional League 2-6pm
October 22: Instructional League 2-6pm

The cost for the Instructional League is $25 and is pay at the door, but the shooter must rsvp with me directly via email. There is no expectation to shoot the league each month. In the league we shoot three USPSA stages twice each for a total of six stages shot in the session. This course is meant to be practice shooting stages and breaking stages down. It is a great place for people new to competition to get their feet wet.

Eye and ear protection is a requirement. You need a gun that is 9mm or larger, a good belt, holster, mag pouches and 3-5 magazines depending on divison, and a desire to learn, be safe, and have fun!

Registration is from 1:30 to 1:50pm and first shot at 2 pm sharp.

USPSA matches in Indiana are on Sunday. There are steel matches and IDPA matches on Saturday's. I have been approached to do a USPSA match on Saturday and I am thinking about it.
