House Votes to Stop Printing Bills -- After Printing Hundreds of Copies of That Bill - FoxNews.com
You know, I really love how Congress tries to appeal the the citizens concerns about spending. And how by going paperless all bills and they can save get this... 35 million over 10 years.... 3.5 million a year, lets look at the numbers here... The current budget is 3.5 TRILLION dollars. Ok now lets look at the percentages here, that 3.5 million is .0000010294117647058823529411764705882% of the federal budget.
Now lets look at a family of 4 living comfortably making $120000 a year. That works out to 12 cents. Twelve freaking cents, now to be quite honest, I am all for the government cutting spending where it can, but if you are going to try and appease me by removing what would account for 12 cents in a middle class American budget is an insult.
Also look what they are wanting to do, remove ANY accountability and have no printed bills. Hmmm didnt realize that text changed just after the vote... hmmmm... yea digital is not perfect. And does ANYONE here have a problem with the government spending 12 cents a year? A penny a month, not enough to buy a cup of coffee..
