So I admit right at the beginning of this thread that I failed miserably by not having my camera phone available to document these two occurrences, but they were cool, nonetheless.

Thursday night a line of at least 20 tow trucks were heading west on I-465 around the north side of Indianapolis, all lit up and with a police escort in the both the front and back of the group. Speeding like bats out of hell. Anyone know what might have gone on that night that needed a ****load of tow trucks in a hurry?

Today on the way to the Texas Star shoot at MCFG there was a convoy of flatbeds hauling 3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles around the north end of Indianapolis. Guns were dismounted and I couldn't detect any wear or damage on any of them, but there appeared to be a double column of writing on the top hatch that may or may not have been names. Crew members? Dunno.

    Kinda interesting to see.

    Tow trucks, no idea.

Bradley's, what direction were they heading? Could have been heading toward Atterbury.

Heading west at the time (around the Meridian exit). The tow trucks were about 8-9pm on Thursday. I saw stephen87's reply, and I know of the tragic EMT deaths, but I still don't get the connection to the line of tow trucks.

I saw all the tow trucks at about 830 at 465 & 52 on the East side. The service for the EMT's was earlier in the day at Clowes Hall at Butler.
They had what I thought was Greenwood PD in the back, didn't catch the front cars.
