    I just found a voice mail. That I have to have a ct scan tomarow morning on my kidneys. I have a steel plate in my neck from c3 c4 fusion. Years ago. Will it matter.

    no, CT is xray, MRI is a magnet but even fusion hardware should be fine for that. If the metal is in the field they are looking at you can get some artifact and degrade the images a bit. You'll be fine.

    the problems are really old aneurysm clips, like decades old. most pacemakers, spine stimulators, pain pumps, etc.

    They will always ask you first and I was nervous the first time I had a mri after surgery
    I have plates and screws in my neck 5-6-7. Just had an mri the other day and no worries. Mine are titanium and this was the 2nd mri I’ve had since The spinal fusion I had about 7 years ago.
    I just found out that I have another herniated disk at 4/5 and a bone spur also pushing on my spinal cord Hopefully your scan comes back with good news
