I recently purchased a Browning 1911-380 and I am looking to do some custom work to it. The only custom part I have not been able to find is a threaded barrel. Is there anyone in the Brown County area that does custom barrels for a decent price?

If no barrels are available the next best option would be to make a threaded bushing for your existing barrel.

If you havent seen AllenM's work then you are in for a surprise. Pretty sure he is one of the few i'd drop a pistol off to in Indiana with absolutely no reservations. His work is absolutely outstanding.

USMC speaks true! Allen threaded my stainless 77/357, moved the sight back and made a stainless thread cover for it. It's almost seamless, dead on accurate and works great with my can. its art.

Thanks Dan, I was not able to help with this one though. The barrel was to thin to create a bushing.

Doing a bit of research. Trying to get into the world of suppressed, did this threaded browning .380 ever come to? Does .380 suppress well? The gun shoots so nice itd be awesome to suppress if it works well
