CZ P07 with Old Eyes

Problem is my eyes and being able to obtain a focus.

My Cajunized P07 is probably one of my favorite compact guns.

Curious about suggestions for sights for the P07. You can’t get it optic ready that I’m aware.

I did switch out to the front Dawson Precision fiber optic green sight. I kept the rear sight and blacked out the rear sight.

I shoot about 95% of the time at an indoor range.

Issue is that that I know what I’m doing is not working.

I have checked out Jagerwerks to mill for an optic. I really like Holosun reticle with circle/dot. I use that on my Holosun Comp. But that’s too big.


Does anyone suggest trying a laser before getting it milled? I’ve never been a fan of lasers in the past. But curious if you may have some suggestions.

I would send it to Cajun Gun Works for milling and a Red Dot. I recent had them mill and install a Holosun on my SP-01 Tactical and it was done perfectly.

I had worsening old eye problems and changed sights on guns until I had lens replacement surgery. Now it's not nearly as much of an issue.

You can get a variety of Holosun micro red dots with the circle/dot reticle that will fit your P07 such as the 507k or EPS carry MRS. Just need to get it milled. i just measure 3 of my pistols. My SP01 has a slightly narrower slide than the P07 And I have a 507k on it. My Rami slide is the same width and has the EPS carry MRS. They have a smaller window than the 507comp but have the 2 moa dot, 32 moa circle which is one of the options (and what I ran today) on the 507comp (on my OR P10C).

Quick search shows P-07 / P-09 slides are wide enough for a Trijicon RMR footprint. So, the Holosun 407C/507C series optics will work as well. Pretty much all of the Holosun pistol red dots should work, just pick one you like.
