...2. I see 2 mags in the pic, along with 2 springs?
    3. When I went to a youtube of guys using this, they just dropped the slide in with a different "pin" and it was ready to go; they didn't do anything with springs?

Those appear to be recoil springs which I assume are of different weights to tune the system if needed for different velocity ammo. The recoil spring is pre-assembled on the recoil spring guide rod and placed in the slide as a complete slide assembly. Therefore you would not see the spring being changed in a video showing swapping the .22lr slide assembly for the 9mm slide assembly as they are only showing swapping complete assemblies.

Put another 130 through this today.

25yds, sitting at bench, frame of gun on rest, hands unsupported. 3" diameter targets.

    Very pleased with the results.

Thats a fine looking handgun! I've tried and just can make myself buy anything other than 1911's these days (handgun wise).I'm contemplating a major move though. MAY down size the fleet and buy a couple custom 11's. OR was thinking of saving my pennies keeping the fleet intact and purchasing a higher end 1911. I shot an Ed Brown a cpl weeks ago and really liked it, it wasnt a noticeable difference in accuracy or feel but i really liked it. Really hard to explain.
I'm not sure i would go Ed B.,,possibly Wilson,Baer who know, buts its def an idea i've been mowing over.

The difference you are fling is in the machine. How it works as a unit. The blending of the part. You may or may not be "More" accurate overall with it but the experience is just....well....pleasing.

Consider a custom if you are making the big leap to Wilson money. Just a thought.
