Deer Leather

I am trying to find 1 sq ft piece of deer leather for a antler mount. Does anyone know a place that sells just 1 sq ft of deer leather? Any help would be appreciated.

Does it need to be hair off leather? Or can you use a piece of leftover leather from a deer mount with the hair on?

Left over leather from a deer mount would work well, or leather with the hair off.

Do you think that a piece of hair on skin will look good covering the antlers on a plaque, or would it look better for a tanned skin?

This is hide that has been through a tanner. So it would look like the hair on a full deer mount. I think it would look good

there was a place downtown Indy just north of south st on illinois that sold all kinds of leather you could get whatever you want there

I have some buckskin. Deer and elk. Steve's hair on hide would look pretty sweet though.
