Defensive Pistol at Marion County Fish and Game

This class will be half in the classroom and half on the range. The course is designed to be the first level of the defensive use of the pistol. It is best that the prospective student can shoot, and reload their gun under pressure. The focus of the class is to be more tactics and mindset than the teaching of shooting skills. This will allow the student to carry more away from the class and will allow the class to proceed at the correct pace. With all of that said there is no prerequisite for the class. If you would like to improve your shooting skills prior to class private instruction is a good way to go.
The class will require a gun, holster, magazine pouches, ear and eye protection, 400 rounds of ammo.
